Is a Grow Tent Right For My Grow?
Grow tents work best for a wide range of areas - From 2' x 2.5x up to 10' x 20' - If you’re looking for something smaller check out a boxed system, we have plenty you can see here. Tent systems are usually less stealthy then a grow box or cabinet, but provide larger yields. It all depends on your preferences and options at home.
How Much Can I Grow With These?
Tent’s come in a huge array of shapes and sizes. Our tents feature a unique and height adjustable ceiling, allowing you to grow your adult plants anywhere from 6”11 to 9’11 high with additional height extension kits. In addition to height, you will need to choose between a large amount of small plants (think sea of green set ups) or a smaller amount of big plants. Small tents like the 2' x 2.5' allow you to grow 6-8 small plants and 4 large or bigger plants, while tents like the 9' x 9' can grow 50 small plants or 24 large. So lots of variety for your grow.
Why Grow Indoor With A Tent?
The largest allure to an indoor tent set up is the ability to grow all year round with privacy in mind. Though usually not as stealthy as a grow box or cabinet, tent systems can provide a good amount stealthiness to your grow operation, as long as you get the right equipment for the inside (or use one of our tent kits.) How much weight can my tent support? Gorilla Grow Tents, or GGT's for short, support up to 300 lbs. You won't have to worry about it collapsing on your plants.
How thick is it? GGT's are made from 1,680D thick fabric. That's 3x to 9x thicker than ANY other grow tent. Compare the Gorilla Grow Tent to the Secret Jardin - The Secret Jardin is about 190D-600D thick. Thicker is better.
